Banana

Last weekend we went on a little hike around Coal Creek, and when we got to the top, we stopped for a snack. Ronan saw my banana and nearly ripped it out of my hands! He ate about half of the banana on his own this way!

Ronan - 9 Months!

Oh boy, what a month we've had! This kid is on the MOVE, and there is no stopping him! Just 5 days after his 8mo birthday, Ronan started to crawl. And less than a week after that, he started pulling himself up! Then... up the stairs!! He's all over the place! We've done some moderate babyproofing, but Ronan is also learning what he can and can't play with (like Obie's water bowl... that's a "no-no").





Ronan's fine-motor skills are developing as well. He's proficient at picking up o's to feed himself, proficient at picking things up off the floor to feed himself, and he's been pointing at everything lately. It's been fun to see this skill develop... until he poked me in the eye!

At his 9-month Well-Baby Visit, Ronan weighed in at 15lb 13oz, and is 28" tall. He's in about the 35th percentile for height, but still not on the chart for weight. He's just a skinny kid, growing and developing!

We went to UW Football Picture Day, and Ronan got to meet several Huskies! We can't wait to take him to his first game in just a couple of weeks!
