Ronan - 10 Months!

Ronan is now 10 months old! This has been a big month of transitions. Our biggest transition is that Mommy is now back to work. I'm working a .5 contract, which translates to MTThF mornings, 7:30 - 11:00, and a full day every-other Wednesday. We have an amazing nanny, Nicole, who watches Ronan at home MWF, and he goes to Baba & Dadi's house TTh to play! I think it was hard for Ronan at first - he was extra clingy and nursing a lot in the afternoons when I was home. But I think he's getting more used to the schedule and routine. Having e/o Wed off allows us to plan fun "field trips", or just get errands done.

This past Wednesday, Ronan visited the NP for his monthly weigh-in. He weighs 16lb 11oz, and is holding at 28" tall. He's still not on the growth chart, but he's following his own curve! They are not worried, since he is still developing well and hitting all of his milestones.

Another transition is that Ronan is now eating mostly table food! He eats just about everything we give him. He even shares his food with Obie (they have become fast friends...). :)

He has transitioned to taking baths in the big tub, as well! You may have seen the video I posted a couple of weeks ago. He loves the big bath, and I hope to get him enrolled in swimming lessons soon - I think he would love that, as well!

Ronan has attended his first 3 Husky Football games, and they are transitioning into a WINNING team! He's done really well at the games, surfing between us and our friend Conrad in the stands. He loves the band and all the people, and even manages to catch a nap in the middle of Husky Stadium! It's been fun for us to see the Huskies winning again - makes our Saturdays much more fun!

And finally, Ronan is transitioning into a bruiser. He got his first black eye when he collided with the coffee table. The first of many, I'm sure. :)
